Stephen W. Anderson, MD
Dr.
Anderson joined PEA in 1983. He received his A.B. in Chemistry from Duke
University and his M.D. from University of Virginia. Dr. Anderson went
on to complete his Pediatric residency and fellowship in Endocrinology & Diabetes
at Children's Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Anderson currently serves as Section Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as Co-Medical Director and Board Member of Camp KUDZU – Georgia Diabetes Camp. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association, and is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the Atlanta Chapter of the Human Growth Foundation. He is a member of several professional organizations including the, The Endocrine Society, the Prader Willi Association, and the Williams Syndrome Association.
